ANDREW MORRISON
As a co-founder and the staff expert of Straw Bale Innovations, LLC (www.StrawBale.com), Andrew has a passion for straw bale construction that is matched only by his desire to teach his knowledge to others. After general contracting for over 12 years with experience in designing and building conventional, green and straw bale homes, Andrew has now turned his attention 100% to teaching his skills to others by means of his blog at StrawBale.com, his DVDs (www.LearnStrawBale.com), his consulting services (www.StrawBaleConsulting.com), his Be Your Own Contractor Training Series (www.BYOCTraining.com), and his workshops.
Andrew is an experienced, dynamic, and engaging workshop leader. He loves working with people and incorporates fun into the construction process. He teaches people the construction skills they need to know while inspiring them to learn about themselves in the process. His workshops focus on construction technique, having a good time, and inspiring deeper connections with community and self.

Andrew owned A.C. Morrison Construction, LLC and A.C. Morrison Development, LLC from 1996 until 2007 and has many straw bale homes during that time. He received a B.A. degree from Hampshire College in 1995 in Glacial Geology. Andrew also has a degree in construction technology from the College of the Redwoods. He and his wife, Gabriella, have worked together for many years in business and in raising their family. Andrew is a dedicated father with two beautiful children. He enjoys listening to music, playing the guitar, playing ice hockey, and learning from life's experiences. Andrew is also the head coach of a youth hockey team in Medford, Oregon. His team won the regional finals in San Jose, California in 2008 and placed 14th in Pee Wee B teams from all of North America in Pelham, Ontario Canada. He is very proud of his team and his assistant coaches for their amazing accomplishments.
GABRIELLA MORRISON
Gabriella is another co-founder of Straw Bale Innovations, LLC (www.StrawBale.com). She brings her life long interest in sustainable construction to the team. Gabriella earned a B.A. from Hampshire College in Wildlife Conservation. She is happy to be involved in a project that prioritizes the outreach of a technology based on resource conservation. Gabriella is the participant and event coordinator for Straw Bale Workshops, LLC. Gabriella is also the head of business development for BeeAudio, an audio book company based in Ashland, Oregon.
